El Camino Real: Chanticleer Travels the Mission Road

Chanticleer’s longstanding affection for the California Missions goes back to its debut 30 years ago in the Mission Dolores in San Francisco. This concert of Mission-era music will be performed in nine of the missions on the Camino Real between San Luis Obispo to the south and San Francisco to the north.

This concert Series is a part of American Masterpieces-California, a program highlighting and celebrating the masterpieces of our nation and, specifically, our California heritage; it is supported by the California Arts Council, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Western States Arts Federation and the E. Nakamichi Foundation. We are honored to have been invited to take part.
